WELCOME TO PLANET COMAC

Jacobi Danniel Rice, Sr. better known as "COMAC'', was born on September 28, 1978 in Memphis, Tn. His childhood was spent growing up on the mean streets of Memphis and partially in Los Angeles, California. His early influences were Quincy Jones, Ice Cube, Scarface and D.O.C. He also loved Visual Arts and Performing Arts. As a youth, he performed at talent shows in High School with Eightball & MJG, which gave "Comac '' the practice he needed to perform with the best. He wanted to advance in his writing and artwork so he attended Lemoyne Owen College, to major in Visual Arts and minor in Journalism. During his enrollment, he entered a National Poetry Competition and won a $10,000 scholarship for college along with placement in the college anthology. Comac, had a undying thirst for being a reporter so he came up *PLANET COMAC", in college. He would INTERVIEW artists like OUTKAST, GOODIE MOB, SCARFACE, TELA and many more. He worked at Cat's Record Store in Memphis, Tn. and promoted artists such as Geto Boys, Playa Fly, Gangsta Blac and Trick Daddy. During college, he was taken in by the late legendary "Willie Mitchell" of Stax Records who produced Al Green, The Bar-Kays and Issac Hayes who is also the uncle of the Superstar "Drake". He worked for "CHALANT RECORDS" in Artist Development and attempted to attend the Institute of Audio Research in Manhattan but could not do so due to his mother passing away.

He worked for "CHALANT RECORDS" in Artist Development and attempted to attend the Institute of Audio Research in Manhattan but could not do so due to his mother passing away. During his "re-birth", he returned to the streets and recorded songs with "Big Triece" of Three Six Mafia and King B of Akon's "Konvict Music" and did personal security for O.G. BOO Dirty who was a member of Gucci Mane's "1017 Brick Squad", Ice Cube ( The N.W.A. Reunion at Coachella 2017 ), Guns and Roses, Calvin Harris, SIA and Shania Twain. He currently writes for SWAGGER MAGAZINE LLC. and MONSTASQUADD.COM and is writing movie scripts. He has embraced the West Coast sound only to keep his original sound. Some compare COMAC to the mega group UGK or Slim Thug, but it is totally obvious that he definitely has his own style. His writing has advanced to the genres of gospel, pop, and rock along with his growth in poetry. COMAC definitely has a place in the world of creativity to express his trials and tribulations to uplift his audience. He is trendy, He is experienced and most of all, He is what the youth needs! Today, he is still pressing for his dreams. In this digital world, he revamped his "PLANET COMAC", to return to what he loves and that is journalism. He is using his time wisely as he returns to California and records music every chance he gets. He is definitely an asset being that he has his own platforms and wants to reach higher levels of achievement. Although he survived the streets, he feels he let the streets trick and cheat him out of younger years. Check him out on his YOUTUBE CHANNEL: "PLANET COMAC" to get an overview of his personality.
